This is usually a driver signing issue on Windows 10 or 11. Restart your PC in "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" mode, then manually reinstall the Alpine USB driver via the Device Manager.
If the software alerts you that the signal is too loud or too quiet, adjust the master volume on your Alpine head unit. Ideally, the volume should be set around the mid-point (typically volume step 15 to 20 on most Alpine decks) before starting the test.
