As a teacher I wanted to give assignments to my students, but (IMHO) the available simulators were not intuitive enough. We worked out the first version of this simulator with José Antonio Matte, an engineering student at PUC Chile. The simulator was functional but a bit unstable, so I created this second version. Please let me know if the simulator is being used in new institutions. If you find any bugs or have comments feel free to contact me.
Yunus A. Çengel, Afshin J. Ghajar Edition: 6th Edition Subject: Mechanical Engineering / Thermodynamics
A: Yes. Chapters 14 and 15 are fully solved, including diffusion through stationary media, equimolar counter-diffusion, and analogies with heat exchangers.
Before calculation, visualize the system and establish engineering assumptions to simplify the governing differential equations. Steady-state operation ( One-dimensional heat conduction in the -direction Constant thermal conductivities ( No internal heat generation ( Step 2: Thermal Resistance Network
Using a solution manual as a primary learning aid requires a disciplined approach. Misusing these resources can hinder performance on exams and independent design projects. Reverse Engineering Solutions Yunus A
