However, many players who purchased the game globally encounter a frustrating issue: the game locks them into a specific regional language like Russian, Polish, or Spanish without an option to change it in the menu.
Verify your Windows user account has administrative privileges to modify registry entries. Step 1: Download and Place the English Language Files

If the registry edit resets after launching the EA App, you can force the language via a configuration file. Go to your main Battlefield Hardline folder. Create a new text document and name it user.cfg . Open it with Notepad and paste the following lines:
You must uninstall the game and then start a fresh download. During the reinstallation, a drop-down menu will appear allowing you to select English .
Windows needs to be told to look for the English asset files instead of your default regional files. Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog box. Type regedit and press to open the Registry Editor.
Once downloaded, extract the archive. Move the files into your Battlefield Hardline installation folder. The default paths are usually: C:\Program Files\EA Games\BFHardline\
